Whilst you’re picking out the vegetables, or whilst you’re angry at the food served not being your cup of tea, others pick the left overs of food in the bin to suffice their need.
Whilst you’re complaining about your studies being hard and the stress and pressure you’re under, others wish they could afford education.
Whilst you’re being angry at your mother, others wish they had one.
Whilst you’re having an uncomfortable sleep because your pillow is too high or too low for your neck, others sleep on the streets.
Whilst you’re at home safe and sound, others are loosing their homes due to earthquakes, or even robbed or killed in their own houses.
Whilst you’re complaining about your shoes, others wish they could walk.
When you are in hardship, remember that others have it worse, just say Alhamdullilah.
Appreciate what you have now, and know that what you have doesn’t belong to you, it all belongs to Allah (swt), He can take it away anytime, just as He gave it to you.
I realised this today morning, when I woke up with an eye infection. I realised how often I look into the mirror, but barely say Alhamdullilah. Others might have it worse, or probably they wish they could even see. Alhamdullilah.
You are rich! A whole lot more that you think you are. I mean look at the mirror, you have eyes, you can see. You have healthy lungs, you can breathe. You have legs to walk, you’re rich mate! Very rich! Alhamdullilah! Wallahi if you keep counting the blessing Allah has bestowed on you, you would lose count! Never use these blessings to disobey your Lord. Never. Look around and say Alhamdullilah, you never realise the worth of what you have until you lose it.
Reminding you to never stop blooming ❤
